Course Overview:
The Leadership & Organisational Growth programme is an accredited Level 9 Special Purpose Award designed for professionals who want to strengthen their leadership capability and drive sustainable growth within their organisation. Delivered through a part-time blended format, this 10-credit programme recognises that effective leadership begins with self-awareness, develops through positive influence, and creates impact across the wider organisation.

- The programme combines in-person learning on the TUS Campus in Thurles with live online webinars, reflective exercises and application to each participant’s own role and organisation.
Entry requirements
(a) A minimum PASS Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in a cognate discipline.
or (b) A minimum PASS Bachelor Degree (Level 7) in a cognate discipline with considerable (3+ years) relevant experience and/or ability evidenced by an RPL portfolio of prior experience and learning.
or (c) A minimum PASS Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in a non-cognate discipline with considerable (3+ years) relevant experience and/or ability evidenced by an RPL portfolio of prior experience and learning.
or (d) Equivalent Qualifications. Applicants with equivalent qualifications on the European and International frameworks will also be considered. International students must evidence a proficiency in English language (IELTS 6.0).
Students may also apply using the TUS Recognition of Prior Leaning Policy and Application system.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you do not hold the standard entry qualification, you may still be eligible to join this programme through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
RPL values the skills, knowledge and expertise you have gained through:

This offers an alternative entry route for experienced professionals who may not hold a formal degree but have developed strong leadership and organisational capabilities.
Through this process, applicants can demonstrate that their prior learning is equivalent to the required academic level.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a score of 5.5 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a score of 6.0 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their English proficiency meets these requirements.
