Certificate in International Trade:
The Certificate in International Trade provides practical knowledge and skills training to professionals working in a variety of international trade roles. The course equips participants with an overview of international trade and customs regulations, explores the key issues and sustainability challenges facing the industry, and provides essential skills training in how to complete customs documentation and how to calculate emissions from transport and freight.
Course Structure and Content:
Duration: 8 weeks: Wednesdays, starting April 30th 2025
(including 6 full days every Wednesday online from 9:30 am – 3.30pm)

Module 1: April 30th – The Regulatory Framework of International Trade
Module 2: May 7th – Tariff Codes and Classification
Module 3: May 14th – Sustainability in International Trade
Module 4: May 21st – Valuation and Origin
Module 5: May 28th – Incoterms and International Contracts
Module 6: June 4th – Import/Export Documentation & Procedures
Training Delivery: Online via MS Teams

Assessment:
6 multiple-choice tests, a reflective diary and a written customs journey assignment of 500-800 words (samples will be provided)
