1 Understand Key Employment Laws and Regulations:

  • Identify and explain relevant European, state, and local employment laws.
  • Describe how these laws impact the workplace and HR practices.
2 Prevent Discrimination and Harassment:

  • Recognise forms of workplace discrimination and harassment.
  • Understand the legal requirements for preventing and addressing such issues.
3 Manage Records Retention and Reporting:

  • Understand record-keeping requirements related to employee files, tax documents, and other HR records.
  • Comply with reporting obligations to government agencies.
4 Proactively Identify HR Compliance Risks:

  • Recognise potential HR compliance risks and vulnerabilities within the organisation.
  • Implement preventive measures and policies to mitigate compliance issues before they occur.
