This programme, Leadership from the Ground Up, is designed for construction SME leaders, site managers, and emerging leaders to strengthen their ability to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable projects. It combines practical leadership skills with real-world construction challenges, supporting alignment with Ireland’s Climate Action Plan and Housing for All. The focus is on building strong site culture alongside operational performance, recognising that successful projects rely on both technical expertise and effective leadership.
Developed in direct response to industry demand, the programme addresses the growing need for strong, sustainable leadership across all aspects of the construction sector. As the industry navigates increasing complexity—from sustainability targets and regulatory change to workforce development—Leading from the Ground Up is designed to equip professionals with the skills, mindset, and tools needed to lead effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
Delivered across four focused modules to minimise time away from site, the programme is highly practical and applied. Participants will work on live projects to carry out safety and communication audits, identify efficiency improvements, and strengthen team engagement and retention. The outcome is a clear, actionable plan that supports better project delivery, stronger teams, and long-term leadership development within the organisation.
